Troy Slaten, Esq., is a Partner at Floyd, Skeren & Kelly and the managing attorney of the firm's criminal defense practice. Mr. Slaten is an expert in criminal defense and frequent contributor to CNN on criminal law matters. He has been a key speaker at numerous employment law conferences on the topic of substance abuse in the workplace, medical marijuana and employee drug testing. Mr. Slaten is also certified to administer and evaluate Field Sobriety Tests (FSTs) by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA). He is certified on the Alcosensor Preliminary Alcohol Screening (PAS) device commonly used in DUI investigations. He regularly attends seminars and lectures on criminal defense and DUI defense. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, National College of DUI Defense, California DUI Lawyers Association, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, Criminal Courts Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, Los Angeles Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Bernadette M. O'Brien is a partner at Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP and an SPHR certified/SHRM-SCP Human Resources Executive. Ms. O'Brien serves as general counsel and executive advisor to the law firm's Human Resources (HR) Department and is managing attorney of the firm's employment law department. She is a published author, distinguished speaker, and website content developer.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations must be emailed to events@floydskerenlaw.com.  50% of the registration fee will be refunded for cancellations received no later than 14 days prior to the event.  Refunds will not be granted after 14th day before the event nor will they be given for no-shows.  Attendee changes:  Should you choose to transfer your registration to another person you must notify FSML by emailing events@floydskerenlaw.com,  7 days prior to the event.
